Administrative Law

Dealing with local and state agencies can be frustrating and complex. Clark Quinn has years of experience in representing clients in finding their way through the administrative maze of local and state governments. Much of the firm's services in the administrative area involve real estate matters, which are specifically discussed in the Real Estate description. Clark Quinn also represents businesses and individuals before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, the Department of Revenue, Department of Environmental Management, Indiana Civil Rights Commission and the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Within the Department of Revenue there are numerous divisions that in one way or another impact us all. From the business services division to the charity gaming division, Clark Quinn has successfully advocated on behalf of our clients. On a more local level, we have years of experience in helping property owners obtain tax abatements and prosecuting tax protests.

For decades Clark Quinn has represented a broad spectrum of those engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages from the small neighborhood tavern owner to a national grocery, restaurant or drugstore chain and large liquor wholesalers. This representation includes the sale or acquisition of alcoholic beverage permits, the vigorous representation of clients who have been charged with violations of the Alcoholic Beverage Code, and general business planning in this area.

The environmental condition of real estate is a basic issue in contemporary real estate transactions. Clark Quinn's lawyers provide professional services regarding the complexities of environmental law and remediation strategies in conjunction with a real estate transaction or in order to avoid, eliminate or mitigate catastrophic liability. In the unfortunate event it becomes necessary to remediate an environmentally impacted site, we have experience working with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and strive to turn a potentially adversarial relationship with IDEM into a productive, working relationship.

For those with less than stellar driving history, Clark Quinn has experience at both the local and state levels in assisting clients before the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles to maintain their driving privileges.
