On the transactional side, our attorneys represent buyers and sellers of real estate in virtually every aspect of a sale/purchase transaction, from the initial site location to closing the deal.  Some of these services including the following: drafting and review of purchase agreements, review of leases, options, and the myriad of related documents involving the critical financing process, surveys/engineering, utility infrastructure, environmental matters, title insurance, appraisals, property inspection and due diligence.

Clark Quinn also represents clients in unique areas of law including eminent domain, annexation and condominium regime.

Although Clark Quinn attorneys are proactive in protecting their real estate clients’ interests on the front end, Clark Quinn is often called upon to represent clients in real estate matters involves litigation at the trial, administrative and appellate levels, including cases involving zoning and land use approval decisions, legislative acts, disputes between parties to real estate contracts, landlord-tenant disputes, and other matters involving real estate.

In the area of lake and water law and riparian rights, our lawyers maintain a statewide practice handling cases and issues involving disputes surrounding lakefront and other waterfront easements, pier or dock permits, disputes surrounding the location or encroachment of piers, property line disputes, lake zoning and construction issues, and rights to access and use lakes and other bodies of water.  As discussed above, our lake and water law practice also includes substantial experience in assisting clients with DNR and NRC permitting and regulatory processes, as well as many other matters involving property rights related to Indiana’s hundreds of natural and man-made lakes and streams.
