Real Estate and Land Use
One of the firm's primary areas of practice is real estate and land use. Clark Quinn represents clients in all areas of real estate law including transactional matters, administrative practice and litigation.
On the administrative advisory side, our attorneys represent landowners, developers and business entities before local land use authorities and agencies relative to a wide variety of development and use requests such as rezonings, variances, special exceptions, platting, architectural design and site review approvals, and related approvals and certifications.
On the transactional side, our attorneys represent buyers and sellers of real estate in virtually all areas of a sale/purchase transaction from initial site location to closing the deal including the drafting and review of purchase agreements and the myriad of related documents; in the critical financing process; and in general review and representation regarding surveys/engineering, utility infrastructure, environmental matters, title insurance, appraisals, and property inspection and due diligence.
Clark Quinn's advocacy of its clients in real estate matters involves litigation at the trial, administrative and appellate levels, including cases involving land use approval decisions and legislative acts; disputes between parties to a contractual arrangement involving real property; landlord-tenant disputes; and courtroom advocacy involving real estate law issues.
Clark Quinn also provides general representation to its clients in real estate matters including the assistance in drafting and/or review of leases, options, general agreements regarding real estate, and other related documents; in special areas of law like eminent domain, annexation and condominium regime; and in providing strategic advice concerning site location and review, land use planning, and general real estate concerns.
Our focus is to add value through high quality services to the client. Our transaction, land use and litigation professionals work hand in hand to provide the client services needed in all aspects of real estate and land use.
